With more than 400 kilometers of beach and many more of border, Tamaulipas contains natural wealth like no other part of Mexico, with countless natural species such as the jaguar, the macaw, the crocodile and deer, as well as thousands of birds that can be observed throughout our territory.

And along with this incredible natural wealth, lives our history and culture, Tamaulipas pride that is represented in each region in a colorful and unique way, through music, crafts, folklore and of course, our beautiful Tamaulipas “cuera”, traditional garment that strengthens our traditions, which we remember from pre-Hispanic times through our indigenous settlements, to the great colonial constructions, and the urban development that has forged grand tourist destinations.
